Touro College Description:

Touro College is an independent Jewish college located in New York City. Established in 1970 with the purpose of enriching the Jewish heritage, the college has since expanded and launched several branch campuses in Florida, Berlin, Jerusalem and Moscow. The Touro College and University System also includes New York Medical College and Touro University California and its Nevada branch campus. The college is dedicated to fostering close student-faculty relationships, an effort that is supported by a student / faculty ratio of 11 to 1. The school's academic offerings are varied with several associate’s degrees and more than 20 bachelor’s degrees in the undergraduate program. The graduate division offers more than 20 master’s degree programs as well as doctorates in osteopathic medicine, physical therapy and law. Other popular areas of study include business administration, special education and health sciences. Campus life is active with dozens of student clubs and organizations, and while there are no competitive athletic teams, the athletic department oversees a variety of intramural sports programs.
